Fairfax Gallery on The Pantiles exhibits original paintings and sculpture from established, award-winning & emerging talent of a standard rarely seen out of London. Our spacious gallery holds over 100 paintings and sculpture on display with great stocks behind the scenes.

The gallery’s spacious listed building on the historic Pantiles provides a striking juxtaposition with the ever changing contemporary art exhibited. The Fairfax Gallery’s success has led to a sister gallery opening in Burnham Market as well as it regularly as exhibiting in London and international art fairs.

The achievement of the gallery prompted ‘Galleries magazine’ to write that it is ‘clear why they have been so successful’.

Whilst the Fairfax Gallery exhibits strong examples of both contemporary figurative and abstract work, it has developed a recognisable style that has earned it a loyal following over 20 years .The gallery works directly with carefully selected artists who are particularly strong in their artistic genre, many having ongoing success with national awards and crtics as well as with clients.

The Pantiles Fairfax gallery holds a large selection of Landscape Paintings, Abstract Paintings and Figure Paintings as well as displaying sculpture in bronze and other media suitable for the home or garden. We offer an experienced service, advising clients about potential art acquisitions and helping them find the perfect piece. In addition to viewing works  in our spacious gallery we can also bring paintings and sculpture to be viewed in situ at your home. With over 20 years of experience we can assist whether you are an avid collector or first time buyer looking for a a single painting or sculpture or a series of works to enhance your home.

We are regularly taking works for clients to view at their homes or offices so please do not hesitate to contact us, even if you are based further away we may be able to tie in a visit with another delivery in your area We offer a polite service and are happy to take the time your require in order that you find what your are looking for.

About The Pantiles

The Pantiles is a Georgian Colonnade and the original shopping area in Royal Tunbridge Wells also known as the Walks and the Royal Parade, it leads from the well situated at the entrance of the Pantiles that gave the town its name.

The Pantiles was originally one of the most fashionable destinations in Europe where visitors walked in the shade of the trees enjoying the finest shops in the land, the gallery offers a glimpse of such standards. In Georgian times at the height of its popularity the Pantiles was a place to be seen. In 1753 Beau Nash was the master of ceremonies creating a code that all were expected to follow.

The Fairfax Gallery is one of the longest established businesses on the Pantiles and welcomes visitors from all around the world, If visiting Tunbridge Wells for the first time or from further afield you may wish to visit one of the many surrounding restaurants hotels and attractions .
