Raj Rana artist information
The main theme of artist Raj Rana’s work is the consideration and observation of the kinetic energies within and around nature’s figurative forms.
By focusing on a purity, elegance and balance in his marks, he seeks to emphasise the texture and complexity of his chosen subjects – resolving into paintings that convey a spacious, lyrical sense, where motion and stillness are one. Raj works primarily with watercolour with occasional touches of gouache and ink.
