The quest for great art is at the heart of a new television series called 'Show Me The Monet',  aired in lMay on BBC2. A panel of three renowned art experts, have whittled thousands of applicants down, in a 'Dragons Den' style ordeal to find the most exciting new creative talent in Britain, the 30 best of were  showcased in a prestigious exhibition at the Royal College of Art.

CJ Munn of local artist pairing Masters and Munn is one of the lucky chosen few to make it through the final cut with a striking and unusual piece of 3d wall-mounted sculpture - namely an exquisitely hand-painted lifecast of the male body, that surprises and soothes the viewer in one swift move by adorning the naked male form with patterns inspired by William Morris wallpaper. André Masters, CJ's partner in work and life, was the muse for the piece, and the pair are more well-known for their larger collaborative life sculptures

'Gaia' (Earth mother) Height 57cm

, formed from hand-drawn and etched fern leaves, cut from brass, eletroformed in nanocrystalline copper and then drizzled with acids to create a beautiful patina.

 It was incredibly challenging to make and we don't believe there is anything like it in the world
