Dawn Benson

Dawn was born in Canada and moved to England as a small child. She trained and worked as a Graphic Designer for 17years before going back to where her heart was, sculpture and painting. Dawns sculpture is figurative and she produces bronzes primarily. Initially working in clay, plaster or wax the pieces have a truly sensitive quality. A lot of the work is based on families and relationships. A mother herself, much of her inspiration is drawn from her own experiences, relationships and feelings
