B.A. Honours Degree from Brighton College of Art
Amanda is
currently creating her Assemblages.A
new medium and technique has developed from my original oils.
‘These assemblages are complex renditions involving the cutting, tearing
and etching of paper, with the occasional use of paints for backgrounds
and additional detail. The colours are carefully selected from the
printed page and to add interest applicable words are pulled from found
text and used in reconstructed sentences. These are camouflaged into the
pieces to give my work secondary and often cryptic appeal.’

Due to the stunning detail and Amanda's work really
needs to be seen in reality, to appreciate these Assamblages.
